Keys to Success

Please read each item in this list, it will help you sell your home and make your life easier. 

  1. Price the home right based on location and condition. Over pricing is always a bad idea.
  2. Pay a fair buyer’s agent commission; we recommend 2.5%-3%. Start fair - local realtors will see the commission day 1.
  3. Choose a title company or attorney before you have an offer. We can refer one if need be. Ask them to give you a preliminary Settlement Statement so you are aware of all the possible charges and have a good estimate of your proceeds form the sale.
  4. Use Showing Assist (available through us) to give Realtors the easiest possible way to show your home. This is an upgrade on most packages well worth the investment.
  5. Do not try to talk your home up to potential buyers simply let them view the house and answer there questions directly and honestly.
  6. Once you have accepted an offer send that complete offer to us with 48 hours to avoid fines. Those fines are passed along to you the seller/owner per the listing agreement.
  7. Provide us with the title company or Attorney handling the transactions contact information, so we can stay in compliance and avoid fines.
  8. Once you close, send us a copy of the closing disclosure/settlement statement within 48 hours of closing to avoid fines.
  9. Refer Us to a friend, family member or co-worker. This is a key to our success.
